Sr. Procurement Specialist

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States. U.S. Citizenship required for government contract support. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $79,000–$124,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $97,500–$146,500 annually.

What you will do

• Execute sourcing and procurement activities, including RFQs, negotiations, and purchase order management.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, planning, manufacturing, and finance teams to support program deliverables.
• Develop commodity and supplier strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Support new product introduction and production ramp activities.
• Conduct market analysis, manage sourcing risks, ensure compliance, and drive procurement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• Experience managing suppliers in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contract support.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting new product introduction through full-rate manufacturing.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or highly engineered products.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Experience with RMAs, supplier quality, outsourcing, turnkey programs, PLM systems, and component-level sourcing.
