Project Manager 2 (Medicaid)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Up to 10% travel, including occasional visits to hirify.global offices for training, team engagement meetings, or other business needs.

Salary: $71,100–$97,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end cross-functional projects supporting Medicaid clinical operations, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and business transformation.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate governance processes, executive reporting, stakeholder communications, and informed decision-making.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Coordinate implementation, process improvement, deployment, adoption, forecasting, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of project management experience delivering projects from initiation through completion.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and at least one project management tool such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be available to work 8:00am–5:00pm Eastern Standard Time regardless of residence time zone.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space with reliable internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload while protecting member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification.
• Experience with MS Planner, MS SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Jira Align.
• SDLC fundamentals, Agile delivery, testing, deployment, and release management experience.
• Medicaid managed care, health plan, healthcare operations, or clinical operations experience.
