Senior Production Planner I (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States

Base pay: $95,000–$115,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage supply and fulfillment planning in MRP for production work orders.
• Release work orders to Production and kit requests to Inventory.
• Create material visibility through line-of-balance, material shortage, and clear-to-build reports.
• Prioritize and expedite subassemblies to support integration timelines.
• Maintain accurate part master data and production configuration in MRP.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to keep production schedules on track.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, or 9+ years of total work experience.
• Experience conducting build reviews and expediting materials through production.
• Knowledge of production planning fundamentals, master data management, batch processing, and issue ticket disposition.
• Proficiency with MRP and ERP systems, Microsoft Office, mathematics, and statistics.
• For work in U.S. offices, eligibility under U.S. space technology export regulations is required, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, EV automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industries.
• Experience in a rapid-growth environment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with AS9100 and U.S. export controls.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
