Senior Production Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under space technology export regulations.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with manufacturing schedules, customer commitments, capacity, material availability, and operational priorities.
• Analyze demand, work orders, bills of materials, routings, lead times, inventory, work-center capacity, and schedule dependencies.
• Identify planning constraints and production risks, recommend recovery strategies, and improve schedule stability and adherence.
• Maintain ERP and production planning data, parameters, schedules, forecasts, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Present schedule analyses, production status, capacity reviews, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, quality, program management, and finance while driving planning process improvements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3–6 years with a master's degree, in supply chain, business, operations, industrial engineering, logistics, manufacturing planning, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, production scheduling, manufacturing operations, and supply chain planning.
• Experience with capacity planning, work-center loading, schedule sequencing, inventory availability, backlog, work-in-process, throughput, and schedule adherence.
• Ability to evaluate material availability, manufacturing capacity, production risks, and resource requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite, plus production planning, scheduling, and business intelligence tools.
