Lead Production Planner (Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer Manufacturing)

Salary: $86,400–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute the integrated Master Production Schedule for fuel cell and electrolyzer stack operations.
• Coordinate planning priorities and execution across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Field Service.
• Optimize lead times, order policies, lot sizes, safety stocks, planning horizons, and other ERP/MRP parameters.
• Lead escalation and recovery efforts for material constraints that threaten production schedules or customer commitments.
• Represent Rochester Supply Chain in S&OP meetings and translate demand plans into production, material, and capacity requirements.
• Drive planning-process, master-data, inventory, and system improvements while resolving systemic material-planning issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, or at least 7 years of progressive experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, ERP/MRP systems, master data, and planning parameters in a complex technology manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, establish accountability, and drive actions through completion.
• Strong data-mining, analytics, organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, results-oriented work style.

Nice to have

• ASCM certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience with Avante.
