Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Hollister, California, United States

Salary: $91,700–$170,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead production planners and demand planning activities across the site.
• Own the SIOP process and synchronize sales, shop-floor, procurement, and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory projections, kanban replenishment, working capital, and a minimum target of 3.5 inventory turns.
• Address cost and schedule risks through corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Use standard work, dashboards, and daily management to improve order-flow performance.
• Develop employees, succession plans, engagement strategies, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• US citizenship or qualifying US person status is required due to U.S. Government contractual and export-control requirements, unless the necessary government authorization can be obtained.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, materials planning, production control, and operations management.
• Demonstrated leadership of lean manufacturing systems and operational improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or defense, automotive, or medical device manufacturing.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment.
• Master’s degree.
