Sr. Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Salary: $73,100–$135,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Manage supply availability planning, delivery commitments, recovery plans, and schedule interruptions across manufacturing cells.
• Use MRP to generate, validate, and release work orders and maintain master production schedules.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering on production schedules, build plans, backorders, and rescheduling.
• Analyze supply variances, demand forecasts, capacity, root causes, and key performance indicators.
• Develop Excel tools and dashboards to track metrics, assess risk, and understand the impact of operational changes.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects and support cost reduction through residual inventory reallocation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or qualifying U.S. Person status is required, or the ability to obtain the necessary U.S. government export authorizations under ITAR requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or logistics, or engineering; alternatively, 10+ years of direct planning experience.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and external suppliers, influencing without direct authority, and communicating risks and solutions clearly.
• Strong organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Advanced Excel, ERP/MRP, report-writing, or Lean/Six Sigma experience.
