Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; responsible for the Atlanta field territory. The trainee program includes required training in Ashburn, VA, and a field training center in NY, TX, or CA.

Salary: $27.98 per hour / $56,375 annually at start; stated range of $27.98–$43.75.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess damage after accidents.
• Review insurance contracts, write repair estimates, and negotiate equitable settlements.
• Consult with customers and other involved parties to resolve concerns.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Manage rental cars and support a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask across platforms.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-facing or high-volume call center experience with KPIs is preferred; an active adjuster’s license is preferred.

Hiring process

• Complete a paid trainee program with three weeks of hands-on training in Ashburn, VA, followed by two weeks at a field training center.
• Licensing and examination fees are provided during training.
