Electrical Compliance Officer (Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months)

Location: Rainham and Romford, United Kingdom

Salary: £31,611–£33,987 per year; Grade 4. One-year fixed-term contract or secondment.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate electrical compliance records across the housing portfolio.
• Coordinate electrical inspections, remedial works, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor outstanding compliance activities and ensure they progress within required timescales.
• Manage data systems and support compliance reporting.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate compliance activities.
• Provide proactive administrative, organisational, and customer service support to the Electrical Compliance team.

Requirements

• Strong organisational, administrative, customer service, and data management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
• Transferable experience from administration, customer service, facilities management, housing, construction, compliance, project coordination, or office-based work.
• Electrical compliance experience is advantageous but not essential.
