A well-known non-profit organisation seeking privacy support within its Legal Department.

What you will do

• Provide advice on data protection and privacy matters across the organisation.
• Support the privacy compliance programme and governance framework.
• Review projects, initiatives, and business activities from a data protection perspective.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, risk management, audits, and incident response.
• Handle data subject rights requests and other privacy-related enquiries.
• Deliver training, guidance, and stakeholder engagement to promote privacy compliance.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent legal professional, or significant equivalent experience in data protection and privacy law.
• IAPP CIPP/E qualification is required.
• Experience advising on data protection and privacy matters in private practice, an in-house legal team, or a compliance function.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
• Ability to partner with legal and business stakeholders and provide commercially focused privacy advice.
