Part-Time Substitute Teacher (Preschool/Daycare)

Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin, United States, with opportunities in Grafton, Saukville, Newburg, and surrounding Ozaukee County areas. In-person work in preschools and daycare centers.

Salary: $14–$17 per hour, up to $136 per day.

What you will do

• Fill in for teachers in preschools and daycare centers serving children ages 0–5.
• Support children through play and early learning activities.
• Follow classroom routines and lesson plans provided by each center.
• Lead arts and crafts, music, meals, outdoor play, and other classroom activities.
• Partner with teachers and center staff to maintain a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or organized community program.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice to have

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Coursework in early childhood education or child development.
