Part-Time Substitute Teacher (Preschool/Daycare)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States, and surrounding areas including Kimberly, Neenah, Kaukauna, and Little Chute in Outagamie County

Salary: $14–$17/hour, up to $136/day

What you will do

• Fill in for teachers in preschools and daycare centers.
• Support children ages 0–5 through play and early learning activities.
• Follow classroom routines and lesson plans provided by each center.
• Lead arts and crafts, music, meals, and outdoor play.
• Partner with teachers and center staff to maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• No teaching license, lesson planning, grading, or test administration is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
• Child Development Associate credential.
• Coursework in early childhood education or child development.
