Product Manager, Business Money – SMB Banking (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA — Hybrid. Employees based in San Francisco, San Jose, Denver, or New York offices are expected to work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.

Salary: $184,000–$230,000 per year in San Francisco and New York; $152,000–$190,000 per year in Denver.

What you will do

• Own core SMB banking workstreams covering application and identity verification, account linking, funding, payments, cards, servicing, and customer-facing product surfaces.
• Drive growth and adoption from acquisition through funded and active accounts, using continuous funnel experimentation.
• Define and own KPIs for account opening, funding, deposit growth, and account primacy.
• Build banking capabilities connected to hirify.global’s payroll ecosystem and make the account a default funding source for business operations.
• Design self-serve experiences that resolve customer issues in-product and coordinate delivery with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
• Partner with banks, banking infrastructure providers, and card processors to deliver reliable and compliant products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, banking, or adjacent industries.
• Hands-on familiarity with business banking, BaaS platforms, deposit products, or money movement rails.
• Experience taking products from 0→1, including pre-beta development and launch with limited resources.
• Experience running product experimentation through hypothesis formation, test design, readouts, and decisions.
• Understanding of banking regulation and operational complexity, with the ability to partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
• Strong ownership, bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and commitment to small-business customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with KYB and onboarding flows, ledgering, or partner bank relationships.
