Sr. IT Project Manager

Salary: $72,160–$108,240 annually

What you will do

• Manage complex IT projects from initiation through deployment and closure, controlling scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Translate business objectives and sponsor requirements into project charters, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and execution plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners while resolving blockers.
• Maintain integrated project plans, financial tracking, governance documentation, decision logs, and change controls.
• Report progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and required actions to sponsors, Portfolio Managers, governance forums, and stakeholders.
• Drive risk mitigation, benefits tracking, lessons learned, PMO improvements, and adoption of AI-enabled project tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably with complex cross-functional IT projects in a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, governance, change control, risk and issue management, financial tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, project planning tools, PPM and reporting platforms, and collaboration technologies.
• Interest in learning and applying AI-enabled tools to improve planning, reporting, risk visibility, project controls, and delivery outcomes.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• PMI-ACP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications.
