Mixed Signal IC Layout Designer

Location: Hybrid role based in Austin, Texas; Greensboro, North Carolina; or Phoenix, Arizona. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

What you will do

• Design and verify high-performance analog and mixed-signal CMOS integrated-circuit layouts.
• Use Cadence Virtuoso XL and Mentor Calibre for layout and verification.
• Work with design and circuit engineers to create topological layouts optimized for circuit performance.
• Resolve layout design issues and apply proactive interventions.
• Plan and integrate layouts, including block-level and chip-level routing with assisted or automated tools.

Requirements

• Experience designing analog and mixed-signal layouts.
• Understanding of device matching techniques and signal conditioning and protection techniques.
• Strong layout planning, integration, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Access to technical data must not require an export license; export-control restrictions apply.
