Senior Quantity Surveyor

What you will do

• Support the Commercial Manager and contract delivery teams with project delivery, profitability, cash management, cost control, and reporting.
• Contribute to applications for payment, credit control, income forecasting, pricing of scope changes, and change control.
• Prepare and maintain cost, forecasting, CVR, CTC, and monthly financial performance information.
• Manage and review subcontract documentation and the full subcontract cycle, including cost-to-complete and budget reviews.
• Review weekly site records, attend project progress meetings, and upload required documentation.
• Support commercial governance, KPI performance, collaborative planning, lean improvement, and professional development across the Business Unit.

Requirements

• Degree educated or equivalent HNC/HND qualification.
• Suitable post-degree experience in a contracting commercial department, preferably within the power industry.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
• Proficiency with Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
• Working towards a professional qualification is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Dungeness.
