What you will do

• Lead the pre-construction commercial function across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Own divisional budgets, cost plans, forecasts, and the Cost Value Reconciliation process.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Lead cost planning, budget validation, tender support, value engineering, and cost optimisation.
• Oversee procurement strategies, package scoping, and early supply chain engagement.
• Manage commercial risks and opportunities and present financial updates to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally within pre-construction.
• Strong knowledge of CVR processes, cost planning, and budget management.
• Experience managing and developing commercial teams.
• Skills in commercial strategy, risk management, financial reporting, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in construction, cladding remediation, or main contracting is highly desirable.
