Sales Engineer Benelux (Amsterdam-based) (B2B SaaS/HR Tech): Delivering technical product demonstrations and tailored HR technology solutions for customers across the Benelux and Nordics with an accent on discovery, solution design, and digital transformation. Focus on translating complex requirements into concrete use cases, connecting solutions to business outcomes, and feeding customer insights into Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; on-site. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam. Temporary remote work from anywhere in the world is available for up to 2 months after 6 months of employment.

What you will do
- Prepare and deliver technical product demonstrations, presales demos, and solution walkthroughs for the Nordics market.
- Lead multi-stakeholder discovery and translate customer requirements into configured demos, use cases, and tailored solution designs.
- Advise customers on HR technology challenges, pain points, and digital transformation strategies.
- Work closely with Sales to understand customer needs and provide technical presales support.
- Collect, analyse, and relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- Train Sales teams on the product, features, and use cases while supporting go-to-market strategy development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in presales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting for B2B SaaS in the Benelux region.
- Experience running discovery sessions and translating business requirements into configured demos or solution designs.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes and ROI.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, presentation, storytelling, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical information, including integrations, to non-technical customers.
- Fluent Dutch, written and spoken, and availability to work on-site in Amsterdam or relocate there.
Nice to have
- Experience in HR technology, including HRIS, ATS, Payroll, LMS, or hands-on HR systems experience.
- Experience across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Time Tracking, and Recruiting modules.
