Senior Planner (Nuclear Decommissioning)

What you will do

• Lead the planning function for a major nuclear decommissioning and demolition project.
• Develop, agree, update, and maintain the Clause 31 programme under an NEC4 contract.
• Manage complex and interrelated programmes, including resource scheduling and cost-loaded schedules.
• Prepare programme analysis, reports, forecasts, and recommendations for project leadership.
• Coordinate with commercial, project controls, design, and operational teams on schedule performance, costs, risks, and delay entitlement.
• Lead collaborative planning reviews and attend client and site progress meetings.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as civil engineering, demolition, or construction.
• Experience with industrial or nuclear regulated environments.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong IT competence.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts, planning requirements, reporting cycles, and project controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate commercial and planning functions, including EVM, SPI, forecasting, risk management, and cost-to-complete models.
• Experience or knowledge of demolition, decommissioning, radiologically controlled areas, or asbestos regulation is desirable.
