Senior Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and engineering support from concept and design through construction, commissioning, validation and handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, project interfaces, technical solutions and engineering deliverables.
• Develop and review specifications, calculations, drawings, technical documentation and project execution strategies.
• Support project schedules, resource planning, budgets, procurement, tendering and contractor activities.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, design changes and engineering issues while ensuring statutory, regulatory, health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on site and mentor engineers and other project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience in an EPCM or similar project delivery environment, including engineering management and project controls.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams and interfaces with clients, contractors, suppliers and other disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to manage quality, schedule and budget requirements.

Nice to have

• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward professional accreditation with a recognised engineering body.
