Quantity Surveyor (Highways)

What you will do

• Support the Commercial Manager and contract delivery teams with project delivery, profitability, cash management, cost control, and reporting.
• Assist with applications for payment, credit control, income forecasting, scope change pricing, and change control.
• Maintain project records, review site diaries and allocation sheets, upload documentation, and attend progress meetings.
• Contribute to cost-to-complete, budget, forecasting, CVR, CTC, and monthly financial performance reviews.
• Support the full subcontract cycle, subcontract documentation, KPI reporting, and timely subcontract placement and payment.
• Promote compliance, collaborative planning, lean tools, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Requirements

• Degree educated or qualified to an equivalent HND/HNC level.
• Relevant post-degree experience in a contracting commercial department, preferably within the power industry.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction contracts, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
• Working towards a professional qualification is preferred.
• A driving licence is desirable.
