What you will do

• Communicate with customers, contractors, and insurer clients by phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Assess the validity of property insurance claims and prepare detailed schedules of works.
• Update building repair scopes using the in-house schedule of rates and evaluate contractor estimates.
• Negotiate cash settlements for repairs with policyholders.
• Manage panel contractors and coordinate repair schedules and costs.
• Settle claims under delegated authority.

Requirements

• On-site construction experience, buildings insurance claims experience, trade experience, or Building Surveyor qualifications.
• Graduate Building Surveyors are welcome to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High standard of customer service and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, flexible, positive approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
