Injection Molding Technician (Plastics Processing)

Location: On-site in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada, at 4025 Trans-Canada Hwy. Night shift runs Sunday to Thursday, 11:30 PM to 7:10 AM.

What you will do

• Define maintenance plans for new production lines and facilities, improving equipment reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Resolve major technical, equipment, and facility issues to improve production line performance.
• Propose process and production line improvements that reduce maintenance needs and optimize operational and energy efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, update technical documentation, and participate in plant projects.
• Collaborate with contractors, team members, and plant personnel while applying quality, safety, and integrity procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics processing.
• Education in plastics processing or experience in a similar position.
• Basic knowledge of molds.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking, organization, and priority-setting skills.
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in French and/or English, spoken and written.
