Senior Software Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; some overlap in working hours across time zones is required.

Salary: USD 160,000–170,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Design and develop multi-tenant SaaS systems for fitness studio management.
• Build backend and frontend features using Python, Django, Ember, and PostgreSQL.
• Create efficient, testable systems based on engineering best practices.
• Lead technical design initiatives and contribute to shared technical ownership.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, including production issues.
• Collaborate through pull requests while supporting team learning and growth.

Requirements

• Experience collaborating successfully in a remote environment.
• Strong Python and Django skills, including REST APIs, models, and migrations.
• PostgreSQL and SQL proficiency, with experience designing multi-tenant SaaS systems and tenant isolation.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, Git/GitHub, Docker, and robust automated tests.
• Willingness to use AI in day-to-day software development.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside within the US.

Nice to have

• Django REST Framework or an equivalent API framework.
• Redis, background jobs, payments or billing, AWS, authentication, and feature flags.
• Ember or another modern SPA framework, observability, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with integrations, e-commerce, POS, or cart flows.
