Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States. Employees local to Mountain View must work from the office 2 days per week.

Base salary: $195,821–$279,825 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Design to define, build, and evolve full-stack user experiences.
• Own frontend and backend architecture for scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Design complex frontend systems with React, TypeScript, and Next.js, including server-side rendering, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization.
• Build reliable, secure, and scalable backend services and APIs with Python and Django.
• Establish engineering standards for architecture, tooling, testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives, identify risks, define trade-offs, mentor engineers, and monitor full-stack metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related coding-focused field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Proficiency in Python and Django, including RESTful API design, data modeling, and service architecture.
• Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems involving databases, caching, queuing, and API integrations.
• 4+ years of industry experience with meaningful depth across frontend and backend development, including production applications using server-side and client-side rendering.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs.
