Site Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY / East Aurora, NY; first-shift schedule.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain site environmental, health, and safety programs and management systems.
• Identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and support actions to eliminate or reduce them.
• Create and update EHS procedures, audit programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver EHS training for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor regulatory requirements, reporting, EHS data, and compliance systems, including OSHA and ESG reporting.
• Support incident investigations, emergency response, regulatory inspections, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, chemical engineering, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, EHS procedures, programs, and assessments.
• Ability to review and interpret EHS data and support follow-up actions.
• Experience developing or delivering EHS training and supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo or East Aurora, New York.
