Manufacturing Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Tonawanda, New York, United States; on-site overnight shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with rotating days off. Domestic travel may be required up to 5%.

Salary: $95,591–$116,834 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Promote a safe and sustainable manufacturing environment by modeling safe behaviors and resolving safety issues.
• Set production priorities and allocate work assignments using lean management processes.
• Monitor production rates, yields, product quality, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop production employees, including contingent workers where applicable.
• Support hiring, policy administration, employee recognition, and completion of required training.
• Represent plant leadership by supporting other shifts, participating in on-call coverage, and serving as a primary plant management representative.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher plus seven years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or supply chain; or a bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering plus two years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Experience must be from a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with daily tier management, improvement projects, or Six Sigma Green Belt projects is beneficial.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
