EHS/ Facilities Specialist (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Benicia, California, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Perform facility walkthroughs, safety audits, inspections, equipment checks, and environmental control testing.
• Track compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, manage hazardous waste, and prepare required government reports.
• Coach employees on practical safety procedures and assist with employee training.
• Inspect, maintain, and coordinate repairs for facility structures, grounds, HVAC, chillers, air compressors, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, process engineering, facilities teams, and external maintenance contractors.
• Use required PPE and hand and power tools while performing physically demanding onsite work.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience and proficiency developed through job-related training and on-the-job work.
• Knowledge of hazard signage, building electrical systems, plumbing, wall structures, and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and status tracking.
• Ability to work onsite in Benicia, California, including physically demanding tasks, tight spaces, ladders, and extended periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to work with required PPE and in environments involving noise and possible clean room conditions.
