US and Bermuda Compensation Partner

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $108,800–$226,800 base salary annually, with potential eligibility for the annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Advise business leaders, HR Business Partners, and managers on compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, pay decisions, and compensation programs.
• Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, job evaluation, leveling, and compensation analyses using survey sources and external market data.
• Prepare recommendations for promotions, organizational changes, offer evaluations, and complex compensation decisions.
• Build compensation analytics, dashboards, reporting tools, and executive presentations that turn market and workforce data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation strategy, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Guide compensation cycles and lead strategic compensation projects across client groups.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive compensation experience, with underwriting compensation experience desirable.
• At least 5 years of business partnering or consulting experience.
• Experience with complex total rewards compensation plans and awards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex HR and compensation matters persuasively.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, interpretation, and executive-level presentation.
