Staff Product Program Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Mountain View, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, or Seattle, United States. Hybrid work is expected, with at least 3 days per week in the office and potentially up to 5 days based on operational needs.

Salary: $181,000–$290,000 per year for roles based in San Francisco or Mountain View; $163,000–$261,000 per year for roles based in Pittsburgh.

What you will do

• Own the definitive software-readiness view for highway segments, customer endpoints, weigh stations, border patrol stations, and truck stops.
• Track map development, ODD analysis, test creation, on-road performance, customer commitments, and release-planning dependencies.
• Aggregate workstream status and lead weekly program reviews and VP-level decision meetings.
• Align Perception, Motion Planning, Systems & Safety Engineering, Mapping Operations, Vehicle Operations, Business Development, and Product Strategy.
• Develop fleet demand forecasts to inform hiring, vehicle allocation, and development-vehicle planning.
• Build scalable tracking tools, coordination processes, and handoffs for the expanding commercial network.

Requirements

• Ability to combine executive-level synthesis with hands-on operational work, including prioritization frameworks, readiness checklists, daily check-ins, and tracking reconciliation.
• Technical understanding of ODD analysis, test coverage, system integration, and software readiness sufficient to identify unrealistic schedules and engineering risks.
• Experience driving alignment and accountability across multiple organizations without directly owning their roadmaps.
• Ability to build processes and tooling in ambiguous, rapidly scaling environments.
• Experience with operational or physical readiness programs in autonomous vehicles, aviation, rail, logistics, or manufacturing launch is a plus.
