Controller (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid position in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Annual salary: $120,000–$140,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

hirify.global develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. ZOLL Itamar develops and manufactures WatchPAT home sleep apnea testing technology.

What you will do

• Manage accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, reconciliations, the general ledger, and provisioning.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, review journal entries, and ensure accurate financial data.
• Coordinate timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Supervise and manage the accounting department, including training employees on Microsoft Dynamics.
• Review vendor payments, travel and expense activity, budgets, forecasts, and tax-account administration.
• Support internal and external audits and execute finance projects and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller, or at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
• Strong accounts payable experience and the ability to work independently as both a team leader and individual contributor.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
