Senior Financial Analyst (Technology)

Location: US Remote; compensation range specified for US-based candidates

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually, plus potential equity compensation

What you will do

• Own monthly forecasting for the Technology organization, including headcount, equity, stock-based compensation, and operating expenses.
• Lead budget-versus-actuals analysis, explain variances, and identify risks and opportunities for Finance and Technology leadership.
• Prepare monthly budget presentations and translate financial results into actionable narratives.
• Manage headcount pacing, hiring-plan trade-offs, backfills, and operating expense alignment.
• Build and maintain models for cloud, infrastructure, commercial inference, and other usage-driven costs.
• Drive resource tagging and initiative-level spend tracking while advising leaders on strategic and operational trade-offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnership, strategic finance, or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of experience building financial models and working with large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the United States for the stated compensation range.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Technology, Engineering, or Product organizations.
• Knowledge of cloud and infrastructure cost modeling, including AWS, GCP, Azure, AI/ML compute, or inference spend.
• Experience with equity and stock-based compensation forecasting.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Anaplan, or Pigment.
