TL;DR
Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting (U.S. GAAP/Financial Reporting): Supporting monthly and quarterly close, corporate accounting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting with an accent on complex journal entries, SOX compliance, and internal controls. Focus on improving close processes, supporting ERP transformation, and implementing AI and automation opportunities while maintaining accounting control quality.
Location: Hybrid role based in the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office, with a minimum of three office days per week
Salary: USD 80,000–95,000 per year

What you will do
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities, corporate accounting, financial reporting, and audit support.
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, legal reserves, restructuring adjustments, and other corporate accounting items.
- Own BlackLine reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with complete supporting documentation and review evidence.
- Perform balance sheet and P&L variance analysis and prepare explanations for management review.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, FP&A, and offshore accounting teams to validate data and accounting treatment.
- Improve close and reconciliation processes while supporting ERP transformation, automation, and AI initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA-track status is preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, audit, or public accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, financial statement analysis, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical judgment, communication, project-management, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to work from the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office at least three days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in a publicly traded company, multinational organization, or Big Four/public accounting environment.
- CPA qualification or progress toward CPA certification.
