Quality Engineer (PCB)

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Act as the customer point of contact for product quality communications, deviation requests, notifications, returns, and complaints.
• Interpret customer requirements, PCB specifications, blueprints, and technical requests for active and shipped products.
• Analyze product returns and quality issues, communicate findings, and support investigations with quality, operations, process engineering, and customers.
• Support continuous improvement activities including 8D corrective actions, ZDP, PFMEA, 6S, TPM, DOE, Jidoka/Andon, quality alerts, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Assist with process audits, procedure updates, employee training, and coordination of outside services.
• Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection reports and correlate GD&T requirements with physical product measurements.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in North Jackson, Ohio.
• Must comply with US export control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC procedures.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in a quality department, with PCB experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, understand technical requirements, use Microsoft Office, and apply basic corrective and preventive action concepts.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NADCAP, AS9100, ISO, or other printed circuit accreditation programs.
• Understanding of MIL compliance.
