Stock and Inventory Specialist

Location: Office-based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

What you will do

• Respond to requests from store employees at the counter and through the request management system.
• Collaborate with management and production teams to improve operational processes.
• Develop procedures, administrative frameworks, standards, and policies for inventory management and equipment distribution.
• Establish performance indicators and monitor inventory activities.
• Identify incomplete database transactions, review cycle counts, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Track inventory accuracy across locations, including shipping and receiving, and report import and export irregularities.

Requirements

• Fluent communication in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in inventory management and process change.
• Ability to interpret data using Excel, SQL, and other relevant tools.
• Ability to collaborate diplomatically, organize priorities, and manage multiple follow-ups.
• Understanding of information technology, finance, procurement, and operational process planning.
• Knowledge of project life cycles, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and enterprise resource planning systems such as ServiceNow and Ivalua.
