TL;DR
Purchasing Specialist (Supply Chain/Materials Management): Managing finished-goods flow, purchase orders, inventory reporting, and supplier coordination for climate technology operations with an accent on on-time delivery, data analysis, and process improvement. Focus on expediting materials, identifying inventory trends, improving operational efficiency, and reducing errors across production and procurement workflows.

Location: Hybrid role in Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 55,000–65,000 annually

hirify.global develops climate technologies, HVACR systems, cold-chain solutions, and related engineering, manufacturing, software, and monitoring products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

What you will do

  • Monitor inventory levels and approve or release purchase orders.
  • Track finished goods across vendors and product lines, expediting materials when needed to protect on-time delivery.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and support the item creation process for new products.
  • Build and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and address potential issues.
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Sales, Suppliers, and Procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and troubleshoot independently.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Authorization to work in Canada is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Three or more years of experience in Materials Management is preferred for the role.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual English and French communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Oracle, JDE, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Sigma is a plus.
