What you will do

  • Perform complex static stress analyses to verify structural integrity requirements for metallic and non-metallic airframe parts.
  • Conduct detail part sizing, layout maturation, trade studies, weight reduction work, certification activities, and in-service support.
  • Use classical hand calculations and computer-based techniques to develop high strength-to-weight-ratio structures.
  • Document analyses for trade studies and detail drawing sign-off, collaborating with Design, Fatigue, and other engineering departments.
  • Lead technical discussions, projects, customer requirements, and complex business and technical presentations.
  • Mentor less experienced structural analysts and contribute as a key technical contact on contracts and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on structural design, analysis, and mechanics of materials.
  • At least 9 years of experience in static stress analysis of airframe structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, technical documentation, techniques, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Airbus structures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available unless specifically stated.
