Senior Medical Science Liaison (Rheumatology)

Location: United States territory covering Central California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado; preferred metros include Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Denver. The role is field-based and requires up to 70% travel, including territory visits, internal meetings, congresses, and related events.

Base pay: $137,000–$235,750 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a territory scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical priorities.
• Build professional relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and academic and community teams.
• Conduct objective, non-promotional scientific exchanges and tailor clinical education to stakeholder needs.
• Evaluate emerging data, treatment trends, unmet needs, and educational gaps in rheumatology.
• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies and respond to external scientific inquiries.
• Generate actionable insights, collaborate with R&D and Medical Affairs partners, and use AI tools to improve decision-making and efficiency.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or an advanced practice provider qualification.
• Postgraduate experience for doctoral-level candidates and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated MSL success.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise in research, data analysis, clinical practice, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
• Ability to support the defined U.S. territory with up to 70% travel.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
