What you will do

• Provide individualized, age-specific nursing care from admission through discharge.
• Assess patient status, identify care needs, and document diagnoses and clinical findings.
• Develop, update, and evaluate patient-centered plans of care and discharge plans.
• Deliver evidence-based patient and family education.
• Monitor patient progress, identify unmet outcomes, and adjust nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Employment is based at the Palos Heights, Illinois location.
