Wellness Nurse (LPN) PT 11-7am

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care with an emphasis on residents’ holistic wellness.
• Monitor residents’ health, safety, and well-being.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
• Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in line with state regulations and community policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance and promote high standards of resident service.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
• Experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings is preferred; two or more years is preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, nursing practices, techniques, and methods related to resident health and wellness.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting residents weighing up to 50 pounds.
