Rate: $55–$65 per hour USD

Outpatient nuclear cardiology imaging services focused on cardiac SPECT and PET/CT procedures.

What you will do

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, including Tc-99m and Rubidium-82, according to physician orders and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform cardiac SPECT and PET/CT imaging, including FDG viability and inflammatory imaging protocols.
  • Operate the Rubidium-82 generator, including elution and quality control procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and perform QC testing on gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners.
  • Verify patient information, explain procedures, monitor patients, and report concerns to the supervising physician.
  • Maintain radiation safety, ALARA, HIPAA, dose, imaging, inventory, and regulatory documentation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
  • Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification and at least one year of nuclear medicine experience.
  • Hands-on experience with cardiac SPECT, PET/CT, Tc-99m, Rubidium-82 generator operation, elution, and QC.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dallas, Texas. Clear written and verbal clinical documentation is required.

Nice to have

  • Dedicated nuclear cardiology experience.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Experience in outpatient or mobile nuclear cardiology settings.
