Manufacturing Engineer

Location: On-site at the manufacturing facility in Miamisburg, Ohio, USA

What you will do

• Lead and execute cost-saving projects aligned with strategic business goals and the Identifications Enterprise Lean Sigma journey.
• Develop, document, and implement standard manufacturing processes, procedures, and processing controls.
• Support daily manufacturing operations by resolving production and quality issues.
• Analyze root causes and establish preventive maintenance in collaboration with machine repair teams.
• Optimize labor and in-plant material flow through line balancing, time studies, and layout planning.
• Manage equipment validation run-offs and other manufacturing engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical knowledge of electronic systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC logic.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including cams and torque requirements.
• Understanding of process documentation and process improvement, with strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site at the Miamisburg, Ohio facility.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and AutoCAD 2D for facility layouts.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
