Manufacturing Engineer

Location: On-site in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Travel may include up to 10% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and implement improvements in safety, quality, service, productivity, and manufacturing performance.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment, downtime, defects, and process variation.
• Identify capital improvement opportunities, prepare justifications, and manage projects through completion.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using project management tools, OEE analysis, and performance-gap resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis, develop process standards, and maintain documentation supporting operations.
• Provide engineering support for assigned production areas, including occasional night and weekend availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Ability to support an on-site manufacturing operation in Lexington, Kentucky, with occasional night and weekend availability.
• Experience with problem solving, data analysis, and cross-functional project collaboration.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing engineering experience involving process equipment.
• Experience leading multifunctional projects and managing capital budgets.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, Excel, Minitab, and SQL.
• Knowledge of robots, camera and scanner vision systems, PLC programming, and PowerPoint.
