Tax Change Manager

Location: Chicago; open to location

Salary: $102,800–$176,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Create and maintain change management plans and supporting deliverables, including stakeholder, impact, and training needs analyses.
• Coordinate change activities such as feedback collection, training delivery, communications, and tracking.
• Facilitate discussions with project, product, IT, operations, leadership, and field teams to refine change materials and actions.
• Support the transition of work from project and product teams to operations and business teams.
• Serve as a liaison to change sponsors, project managers, leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Provide coaching, feedback, goal setting, and training as a Performance Advisor when assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Technology, or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience working with leadership, managers, and individual contributors.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering initiatives with formal change management plans and deliverables.
• Experience in public accounting at a mid-sized or large firm, or in professional services.
• Strong communication, analytical, influencing, negotiation, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead teams through change and digital transformation in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification.
• Experience presenting recommendations based on trends and data patterns.
• Experience with talent development and long-term planning at managerial or executive levels.
