Sr. Business Transformation Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: Edgewood, NY, United States

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead multiple cross-functional transformation projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Analyze business processes, workflows, systems, controls, and dependencies to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design future-state processes and solutions focused on efficiency, scalability, standardization, automation, and client experience.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and executive-ready status reporting.
• Coordinate requirements, testing, process changes, communications, training, deployment, and post-launch stabilization.
• Build repeatable project management and transformation standards, templates, governance practices, and reporting tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on complex project management experience, including independent ownership from initiation through completion.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Business, Operations, Technology, Product, or other enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong experience with project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and status reporting.
• Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, transformation, or implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, exercise sound judgment, and drive execution in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience, particularly in Proxy, Corporate Actions, custody, issuer services, or securities processing.
• PMP or comparable project management certification.
• Experience with process mapping, current-state and future-state analysis, testing, implementation planning, automation, or workflow modernization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
