Registered Nurse Medical Intermediate Care Center Full-time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill patients in a 26-bed, mixed-acuity medical intermediate care unit.
• Assess patients with complex medical conditions, postoperative needs, or clinical instability.
• Develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate care and delegate appropriate activities to assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
