System Administrator (Azure)

Location: Hybrid/on-site in Washington, DC, up to 3 days per week or as required for classified work, at the Herbert C. Hoover Building

What you will do

• Operate and maintain Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret cloud environments supporting NTIA spectrum systems.
• Perform patching, backup validation, recovery testing, account troubleshooting, licensing, scripting, and routine systems administration.
• Implement STIGs, remediate vulnerabilities and POA&M items, and support ATO documentation.
• Monitor infrastructure and application health using Azure dashboards, Log Analytics Workspaces, and SIEM capabilities.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, Virtual Networks, authentication, authorization, and cloud networking.
• Support classified systems, SIPR operations, cross-domain data transfers, cost optimization, technical documentation, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• 5+ years of database and data-management experience.
• Azure Expert-level certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
• CompTIA Security+ certification and compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements.
• Experience with Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret environments, Azure Data Transfer Cross-Domain, SIPR networks, STIGs, SIEM, ATO documentation, POA&M remediation, backups, vulnerability remediation, and scripting automation.
