Principal Software Development Engineer (AI Security)

Annual base pay: $259,200.00–$388,800.00

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures for a Generative AI platform, focusing on availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate reliable software delivery.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes and other containerized workloads for resource efficiency and scalability.
• Implement and operate serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards across the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure for scalable applications.
• Expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, AWS Lambda, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Ability to lead projects with minimal guidance and solve complex infrastructure and performance problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Work location: Field-CA BAY, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B SaaS environments, service meshes, API Gateway, MongoDB administration and optimization, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Go, TypeScript, or Python.
