Business Controller (AdTech)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid 3:2 split with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days at flexible locations

What you will do

• Partner with market and functional leaders on budgeting, forecasting, pricing, commercial decisions, and business performance.
• Review major deals, renewals, and pricing exceptions, including profitability analysis and financial guardrails.
• Own recurring revenue, margin, cost, pipeline, and consolidated performance analysis with clear recommendations.
• Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and organizational changes, and track realized benefits.
• Drive multi-market budget and forecast processes, workforce planning, management reporting, and board-level reporting.
• Improve controlling processes, financial models, tooling, automation, and AI-supported workflows.

Requirements

• University degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in business control, FP&A, or a similar role, ideally in a scale-up, SaaS, or adtech environment.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience running budget and forecast processes across multiple markets or business units.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with deal desk, pricing, or commercial finance.
• Interest in automation and AI-supported ways of working.
• Swedish language skills.
