TL;DR
Senior Financial Controller (Financial Controlling/Accounting): Managing financial close, reporting, consolidation, intercompany accounting, compliance, and statutory reporting across several European entities with an accent on financial accuracy, controls, and process ownership. Focus on analyzing P&L and balance sheets, resolving complex accounting issues, and improving finance processes through automation and AI-enabled tools.
Location: Aarhus, Denmark; hybrid work model

What you will do
- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, management reporting, and Group consolidation.
- Manage accounting and intercompany activities, including transactions, related invoicing, Transfer Pricing documentation, and accounting guidance.
- Support audits, compliance, VAT, tax, statutory reporting, and bank, payroll, and treasury-related reporting.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Finance Services, Business Finance, and business stakeholders to provide analysis and resolve financial issues.
- Drive governance and continuous improvement by simplifying and automating Finance processes with digital and AI-enabled tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, Accounting, Audit, or Reporting.
- Strong experience with month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience with audits, compliance, statutory reporting, and intercompany accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain financial developments to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
- Experience providing accounting guidance and supporting colleagues with financial processes.
- Professional proficiency in English and experience with Workday or a similar ERP solution.
